ESL games are great when they get your whole class moving and having fun. “What time is it Mr. Wolf?” delivers both while teaching and reinforcing time related vocabulary. It’s a great game for days when the regular classroom is feeling a little too boring.

30.11.2023Like the game but for a class of 32 pupils it would be rather difficult…..I may have to form 2 groups..

20.08.2022we always did "Lunch time" instead. Which makes more sense to me sense school had lunch during it. And I can't remember exactly, but we had like people either sit out or become wolves themselves when they were caught and the wolf would try to tag as many people as they could. So eventually a class of like 25 or whatever would be down to just a few people and the wolf, im pretty sure in that case the wolf was constant for the entire game and everyone caught sat out afterwards. And we would go from wall to wall in the gym. So reaching the other wall was the objective after they shouted lunch time. Then we'd reset and go for the wall you just came from. Seems kinda unfair for the wolf. I think I remember the last person standing became the next wolf, so the most energetic player took on the wolf next basically. The whole winning is losing thing…lol, everyone tries to be 2nd place instead
