Maybe that's new for you, but it is so and it happened in the early 80s too. Our currency devaluated beyond belief. I thought that was the worst I had to see in my life but it seems like "here we go again". USA takes measures to "protect" itself and many countries go bankrupt. You have to ponder, why shovel trillions into war?

22.10.2022At our marina on the mainland here in Maryland, the price for diesel went to $6 per gallon on Thursday morning. That means that the watermen here on the Chesapeake Bay that catch the fish, crab and oysters you like to eat are now paying up to 3 x the price just for fuel that they were paying in 2020. That doesnt include the other costs like the marine anti-fouling paint (that must be applied every year) has more than doubled in price. Seafood is about to get prohibitively expensive or extremely scarce if the guys decide it just isnt worth it to fish for a living anymore.

we are in a housing crisis. I have been a Realtor since 2006. Our business has plummeted this year. I know that things are booming still in certain places in the country. However, in a small town such as mine, folks are not moving away from their country homes and ai can’t blame them.
